What do you have to know? 

  • Questions with "how + adjective": How big is it? How beautiful are they?
  • Passive voice in present: object + is/are + verb (participle) + (by subject). The piano is played by my mum. Some pictures are taken.
  • Passive voice in past simple: object + was/were + verb (participle) + (by subject). Harry Potter books were written by J.K. Rowling. 
  • Passive voice questions: wh- + is/are/was/were + object +verb (participle)? Where was the mobile phone invented? When was this book written?
  • Questions with WHO: who + verb (active) + object? Who wrote this book? 
  • Vocabulary about technology and inventions: computer, hot-air balloon, keyboard, mobile pone, radio, satellite, steam train, toothbrush, underground, Wheel.
  • Writing: describe a process in passive voice- how can you make a craft with recycled materials?
