History

Next week we will start with history in the Social Science class. We are going to learn about prehistory and ancient history. Instead of a text we will have to learn through games, presentations and homework.
There are many interesting webpages with games about how was life during Prehistory.

Science classes

Last weeks we studied science in a different way! We were tired of memorizing so we decided to go to the playground. We played a game in order to understand how atoms and molecules work.

We also practised our geologist skills in the lab. We analized the different properties of some minerals.

I love sciences!!

We learn at the speed of light in the Natural sciences classroom. That's why it's important to study at home. This week we are learning about body systems: the digestive, the excretory or the circulatory. We have the help of the body model at the classroom, and also some useful videos.

On Friday we also experimented with the sunlight trying to create a rainbow inside the classroom.
Here is a photo!

Today we studied instruments used to measure the atmospheric conditions. One of them is the barometer, which measures the air pressure and tells us if it's going to rain.
What is the indicator of precipitation:

About last week...

Last week was very special for us. We had very interesting experiences like singing in front of first and second graders, making a Earth model with modelling clay or using the Ipads.

Here we are singing "Here comes the sun" by The Beatles in front of other classes.

On this photos we are making a model about the layers of the Earth. We love using modelling clay!

Finally, we have been playing games with the Ipad. We had to answer to different questions about the Earth in an exciting competition.
